2026 Municipal Election
The City of Brantford is committed to treating everyone in a way that respects dignity and independence. This includes ensuring municipal elections are accessible to all electors and candidates.
Following the 2022 Municipal Election, staff reviewed the accessibility measures used during the election. The 2022 Post Election Accessibility Report was prepared to identify barriers that affected electors and candidates, and to document steps taken to improve accessibility.

Within 90 days after voting day in a regular election, the Clerk must prepare a report on the identification, removal, and prevention of barriers that affect electors and candidates with disabilities. The report must be made available to the public.
